Sometimes your resident just needs one visit and home health might not be the best option.
This fee is for a standard pre-move in assessment regardless of location of the assessment (ex. private home or hospital). If there is significant travel involved, we will review additional travel cost prior to the visit.
For residents already assessment by Consulting Nurse Service we offer future assessments at a reduced rate
When you know that your new resident will need Nurse Delegation we can begin the Nurse Delegation process at the assessment at a reduced cost.
This includes the initial visit, required DSHS paperwork and delegation of your staff. Frequently additional visits are needed during the initial period. This initial fee covers up to two additional visits in the first 30 days to complete the nurse delegation process.
The state requires a visit at least every 90 days. Additional visits would be needed for new staff as well. This fee applies to any visit needed, until the time for an annual re-assessment or significant change assessment
The state requires weekly visits for at least the first four weeks. This fee includes the intake as well as 3 additional weekly visits. All staff being delegated must be present at all of these visits. After the first 30 days, visit are every 90 days at the on-going visit rate.
DSHS residents must be authorized by their case manager. Once authorized, your DSHS residents fees are covered and they will not receive a bill from Consulting Nurse Services.. Sadly long-term care insulance rarely covers these costs, but we are willing to try if you client has a long term care policy.
The hourly rate is $95 per hour. A nurse will discuss your needs and come up with a plan with price quote for your approval before the first visit.
We will help your resident work with their insurance, but I warn residents and families that rarely does a health insurance policy or long-term care policy cover this type of service.
These services are considered "custodial care" which is not covered by Medicare
